I'm not giving the answers out right away anymore. I'm giving you all a chance to figure some of these out. This one is a HARD one, but two sixth graders figured it out in minutes yesterday! I was amazed!

For the rest of you (and I include myself in this mix) who were absolutely befuddled by this pattern, there is actually a very simple solution to the next line. You go from the line above it and describe each set of numbers. For instance, for the line 1311221, you say how many of each digit are in the row. The line has one 1, one 3, two 1's, two 2's and one 1. Therefore, the next line is (drumroll please) 1113212211. Does that make sense at all?
